Shore Capital to launch retail corporate bond market making in London

Shore Capital Stockbrokers ("Shore") today became one of the first market makers in London to participate in the retail corporate bond market.

Shore is the second largest market-maker on AIM by number of stocks covered and the third largest on the London Stock Exchange. From today Shore will offer market making services in the first debt instruments linked to LSE listed companies.

The announcement follows today's launch of the retail bond market by the London Stock Exchange. Full details of the initiative can be found on the LSE's website http://www.londonstockexchange.com/.

For they first time they will be able to access the higher yields offered by corporate bonds and buy and sell them in small denominations.
