Puma Absolute Return Fund
Shore Capital has developed a strong expertise in selecting and monitoring hedge funds as investments. We believe that through careful selection of a diversified portfolio, it is possible to achieve attractive returns without a high likelihood of volatility of return month by month. Having demonstrated with our own and selected clients' portfolios over a two year period that this proposition was the case, we launched a fund in May 2003.
The Puma Absolute Return Fund ("PARF") is an open ended company listed on the Irish Stock Exchange with Shore Capital Limited as manager. The fund has different classes of shares to suit different investors including dollar and sterling classes. Managed by a specialist team of experts in hedge funds, it offers investors:
- access to a range of talented investment managers who run funds which are closed to individual investors.
- a high degree of liquidity for investors by offering monthly redemption arrangements, made possible by investing in liquid underlying funds.
- diversification from equity markets and other traditional asset classes.
- active management and regular monitoring of underlying managers to ensure they are not deviating from their chosen strategy.
