Shore Recruits New Corporate Finance Director

Former BDO Stoy Hayward Partner to Grow Corporate Finance Business
Shore Capital Group plc, the investment bank focused on equity capital markets and specialist fund management, today announces the appointment of Michael Cobb as Corporate Finance Director of Shore Capital and Corporate Limited, its Corporate Finance business.
Michael has more than 25 years' corporate finance experience with firms including Henry Ansbacher, Granville and BZW. Most recently, he led the public company advisory team at BDO Stoy Hayward ("BDO") for over 10 years, where he was a Partner in the Corporate Finance group.
At BDO Michael oversaw a period of increased profile and visibility in public company advisory work and led a large number of high profile public and private company transactions including 3i's investment in Interflora and the buy-out offer for Whitehead Mann.
Michael qualified as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has a degree in economics from Bristol University.
