Shore Capital Appointed Nominated Adviser and Broker to Daily Internet Plc

Shore Capital has been appointed Nominated Adviser and Broker to Daily Internet Plc.

Daily Internet Plc has a market capitalisation of circa £9 million.

Overview of the Company

Daily Internet (the “Group”) is an established UK Internet hosting and Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (“IaaS”) provider, which is headquartered in Liverpool and has an additional offices in Nottingham and Coventry. It was founded in 2007 by Abby Hardoon, the former CEO of Magic Moments and subsequently Host Europe.  The current CEO, Chris Evans, founded Switch Media Ltd, a web hosting provider which was listed in the Deloitte Fast 50 for two years running in 2007 and 2008 before being acquired by iomart Group PLC in April 2011.  He was a founding shareholder of Q4Ex Ltd which was acquired by DAIP in December 2014, following which he became CEO of the Group.

Daily Internet has grown rapidly through both organic growth and acquisition, and now provides a broad range of infrastructure and cloud based services to individuals, small to medium enterprises and larger corporates. The client base currently totals over 57,000 across the Group, with the number of domain services totalling over 190,000. 

Strategy

Daily Internet’s strategy is to become the one-stop supplier of reliable, scalable, high performance and resilient infrastructure based hosting products within the fast-growing UK and European markets with a multi-brand and multi-location strategy. 

The Group intends to achieve this through a combination of a ‘buy and build’ strategy whilst accelerating organic growth by leveraging on the existing strengths and assets of the brands within the Group. Daily Internet will continue to look at various accretive acquisition opportunities to expand its reach and product set both in the UK and Europe. 

The Group continues to evolve and move up the value chain and its revenue streams are increasingly shifting to the provision of Complex Hosting solutions for enterprise customers.

The Group currently has four brands, Daily Internet, EVOhosting, NameHOG and Netplan.
